Children's Services

I am so excited to join this team of educators at Quest Leadership Academy. I currently hold a position as an assistant teacher for special education. I also have the privilege of being the Director of “Extended Day” and “Summer Enrichment Program”(Q4K). I've worked with young children for over twelve years. I’ve served in positions such as; Director of the Youth Department at Gabriel AME Zion Church. There I acquired the position as the District Leader of Christian Education of Children within the Spartanburg District. There I traveled from Camden, Spartanburg and Columbia on a regular basis to educate children. In 2006 till 2010 I had the privilege of directing a home daycare where I worked with associations such as; Success by 6, United Way, No Place Like Home and a host of others.

In 2011, I became the owner and director of Busy Bee Learning Center. The facility was licensed by South Carolina Department of Social Services Child Care Licensing as an education institution. There we served children from ages two through five. Our after school program ranged from first to fifth grade. Unfortunately due to financial challenges Busy Bee Learning Center was unable to continue to provide services to the community.

I’m currently enrolled in Greenville Technical College awaiting my associates degree in early childhood education. Once obtained my plans are to pursue a bachelor’s degree in special education. In addition to this, I’m the wife of an awesome husband, James W. Fields. God has blessed us with four remarkable children, Jeressa our eldest daughter, whom is currently attending her senior year at SCAD University, Dynasty is a sophomore at Anderson University our son Joshua is currently exploring his opportunities , Trinity our youngest has autism. She is currently home schooled.

My prayers and objective is to successfully render my skills and services to create a pleasant learning atmosphere for this school year. I’ve held the occupations of a community leader, parent and student and I believe if we work together as a unit, one body being on one accord. We can built an unwavering educational foundation for our children here at Quest Leadership Academy.
